Warning for Internet Explorer 6 Users
You're reading this page because you're using an out-of-date version of Internet Explorer, and by doing so, you are putting your computer at extreme risk of infection by viruses, trojan horses, key-loggers and other malware. We here at WineX believe in helping our clients to achieve the safest possible computing environment, and we cannot in all good conscience allow you to go uninformed of the dangers you face.
As of October 5th, 2008, there are currently 135 vulnerabilites in IE6, 24 which remain completely unpatched. Microsoft have not released a patch for IE6 since August 2004 - more than 4 years ago. There are hundreds of malicious programs on the Internet right now that take advantage of these unpatched security holes, and your computer can be infected by something as innocent as simply visiting a webpage - you do not even need to download a file or click on any links!
If this is not enough reason to upgrade, IE6 does not support the latest in web-development technologies. Many of the exciting new developments in the web over the past 6 or 7 years are very difficult to implement in IE6, or simply do not work at all. It is for this reason that you may notice certain elements on our site are not working entirely correctly in your browser, or are performing in a degraded fashion as opposed to other browsers.
The great news though, upgrading couldn't possibly simpler! Simply download Firefox (MUCH preferred), or if you insist on using Microsoft products, then download the latest version of Internet Explorer. Once you've downloaded and installed one of these, you'll kick yourself you didn't do it earlier!
